When can I book my place for the Ride Out?

What does my ticket cover?

The registration fee will secure a place for you and your bike to take part in the Ride Out, and entry to the Bike4Life Festival at Weston Park. Please do not turn up to the Ride Out without a ticket as we are limited by the authorities on how many bikes can take part. 

When can I expect my tickets to arrive?

The Ticket Factory should automatically release your tickets as soon as payment has been taken. However, if you do not receive your tickets straight away, please contact The Ticket Factory on 0333 300 3010. Please also check your spam/quarantine folder.

Can I just visit the Festival?

Yes, you can purchase tickets on the day for the Festival at Weston Park. The Festival takes place 10am - 5pm.

Is there parking at the Festival?

Yes, bike, car and disabled parking will be available. Bike parking is free, whilst car parking is £5 per car. 

Disabled parking is available for blue badge holders only. 

Why has the Bike4Life Festival moved venue?

The team at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is keen to expand the Festival to accommodate more attractions, family entertainment and visitors in 2024. Weston Park in Shifnal is the ideal location to allow the Festival to become even bigger and better.

Are refreshments available at the Ride Out and Festival?

There will be various stands offering food and drink at both the start point (Meole Brace) and the Festival site at Weston Park.

As a spectator where can I view the Ride Out from?

You can watch the start of the Ride Out at Meole Brace from 11.00am, or view from various bridges along the route on the M54. You can also see the Ride Out arriving at Weston Park from 11.30am. See the map on the homepage for further info.

What vehicles can take part in the Ride Out?

Motorway regulations apply, so learners are not able to take part. Riders must hold a full UK biker license. No cars or push bikes. 

Can I register more than one bike?

Yes. Each ticket purchased covers one rider, so purchase as many tickets as you require for your group.

Do I have to pre-book or can I just turn up on the day?

The Ride Out is pre-booking only. 

Where does the Ride Out start?

At Meole Brace Park and Ride in Shrewsbury, SY3 9NB.

What time does the Ride Out leave Meole Brace?

The Ride Out leaves at 11.00am, and it’s recommended you arrive at Meole Brace no later than 10.00am. Registration will open from 8.00am.

 

 

Where does the Ride Out end?

The Ride Out's end point and Bike4Life Festival site has a new venue for 2024, at Weston Park in Shifnal, TF11 8LE.

You will be entertained by live bands and biker demonstrations. There will be biker themed stalls and exhibitions to see as well as a range of refreshment stands and entertainment for young children.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, for the first time, all dogs will be allowed into our Bike4Life Festival. Dogs MUST be kept on leads at all times. Dog owners are responsible for the safety of their own dogs. We would advise those with nervous and anxious dogs to keep them away from the loud noise of the motorbikes.

Is it family friendly?

The Bike4Life Festival is a family friendly event with entertainment for everyone. The charity will have a children's zone with its helicopter bouncy castle and decommissioned helicopter pod, and there will be live biker demonstrations.

How many people are expected on the Ride Out?

Approximately 3,500 bikes take part in the Ride Out. 

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes at both Meole Brace and Weston Park.

Can I smoke and/or vape at the Festival?

Meole Brace will have designated smoking / vaping areas. The Festival at Weston Park is a NO SMOKING event, but VAPES are allowed. Please stick to these areas and dispose of any litter as the charity has to clear any debris from the Park after the event.

How can I donate to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity?

All proceeds from Bike4Life go directly to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, so your registration fee will help to fund our lifesaving service. Further donations are welcome on the day, and you can donate online here.

What is the refund policy?

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Bike4Life has a NO REFUND POLICY. While the charity hopes the sun will shine for Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival, if there is bad weather, don't worry the Ride Out and Festival will still go ahead. Refunds will not be paid based on weather conditions, or if riders / pillions cannot make the day. Refunds will not be paid if riders do not have full bike licences. The Ride Out takes place along the M54 which is subject to motorway restrictions. It is the responsibility of the rider(s) to ensure they have the correct licences in place before purchasing tickets.

This is a charity event and ticket sales will directly support the work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Do I need to buy tickets for children to attend the Bike4Life Festival?

All children aged 15 and under and go free to the Bike4Life Festival. Anyone aged 16 years and over will have to pay for a ticket.
