Shane Lynch has pledged his support and is leading the call for all bikers across the Midlands to sign up for the Bike4Life Ride Out 2017 to help support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Shane, along with Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Stephen Gately, formed BOYZONE in 1993, and their very first single started the rise to superstar status in the UK as well as Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia & New Zealand.

Between 1994 & 1998 their first, second and third albums all shot to number one in the UK. Their last album before taking a break was a compilation of their greatest hits and was also a massive success.

On returning to Boyzone in 2008 they exploded back on the scene with 36 sell out shows nationwide. They’ve enjoyed over 20 years of music, 25 million record sales, 4 number one albums & 6 number one singles.

Shane will join Carl Fogarty, Steve Parrish and Nick Sanders, to lead 3,500 bikers on the annual 23 mile Ride Out, to raise awareness and funds for the lifesaving work of the charity. Shane is urging riders across the region to join him for the event on Sunday 30th April.

Both Shane Lynch and Carl Fogarty will be supported by Triumph motorcycles Birmingham and will be riding Triumph motorbikes for the event.

Commenting on the event Shane said; "I was delighted to be asked to support and join the Bike4Life campaign, and to lead the Ride Out of 3,500 bikers on Sunday 30th April, and I am a huge fan of the work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity'.

The Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival is a fantastic way for the biking community to come together, raise funds and pay it forward for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, and to appreciate how incredibly valuable this lifesaving service to us all. As part of Boyzone we spent countless hours on the road up and down the motorways and today I enjoy racing cars and biking, in the event of a serious accident it is comforting to know that we have such an incredible rapid lifesaving service that has paramedics and doctors on board saving lives by saving time."

"We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to the incredible lifesaving work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity who last year reached its 25th Anniversary having undertaken over 47,000 missions. One day you or your family and friends may need to call upon the Midlands Air Ambulance to save a life. I am urging all bikers across the Midlands to please join us on the Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival.”
